For older youth, community integration is often best achieved through a transition to living independently. The Intercept YouthQuest Program provides the assessment, training and support young adults need in order to ensure their lifelong success and independence. Residents are encouraged to practice and apply their skills in an environment that excites them about their future.
Young adults (17-21) are assigned specially trained Life Skill Coaches who utilize ongoing Ansell-Casey Life Skills Assessments, formulate Transitional Living Plans and provide daily training and support. Attractive and fully furnished apartments / condominiums allow residents to feel comfortable and safe while they attend school, maintain gainful employment and save for their future. Mental Health Support workers, funded by Medicaid, are available to add further support to residents as is necessary.
