Often youth who are dealing with serious emotional disturbance and behavioral problems require a period of stabilization before they can be successfully served in their own home. Intercept Community Homes provide counseling, support and supervision to youth who might ordinarily be served in residential settings. Our homes are spacious, comfortable, community based and provide a natural environment for treatment.
Community Homes work with a variety of psychiatric diagnoses and behavioral disorders including sexually reactive behavior. Our structured therapeutic milieu promotes pro-social behavior, self-esteem, emotional stability, personal accountability and character building in a fun filled environment, while teaching the life skills necessary to become productive and responsible young men and women. Residents receive Ansell-Casey Life Skills Assessments, training and Transitional Living Plan development in anticipation of their return home. Discharge remains the focus from day one as the resident’s Community Integration Plan serves as the foundation for treatment and case management.
